Missile strikes, losses, forced relocations, abnormal heat, blackouts, resource and personnel shortages – all of this has become the new "normal" for Ukrainian agrarians. But even under such conditions, Ukraine's dairy sector has not only persevered but has managed to grow. In 2024, the average cow productivity in industrial farms reached 8167 kg per cow per year – 20% more than in 2021.
While the Armed Forces of Ukraine defend the country on the front lines, Ukrainian farmers hold the food front. They don't give up, they adapt, rebuild what's destroyed, work on generators – and even show better results than before the full-scale war.
To celebrate these colossal achievements, we continue the tradition of the "Dairy Records of Ukraine" rating – a recognition of the resilience and steadfastness of every dairy farm.
This year, the rating features two key nominations:
- TOP-20 Dairy Farms of Ukraine
- Highest Lifetime Cow Productivity
We encourage dairy farms to participate, share their results and experience. Because every such story is a part of the great story of an unbreakable Ukraine.
Together, we are shaping a future where Ukrainian milk is synonymous with quality and strength.
